History

The Royal Melbourne Dairy Show as a stand-alone industry event was first held in 2010, offering the dairy industry an opportunity to celebrate quality, continuous improvement and innovation, with a unique springtime focus. In its inaugural year, the Show hosted the largest number of dairy cattle seen at the Melbourne Showgrounds in ten year, and entries again grew significantly in 2011, from 275 to 383.

The Royal Melbourne Dairy Show continues to move from strength to strength, offering world-class facilities run by a Committee and organisation committed to celebrating dairy breeders, and educating and connecting consumers with the dairy industry.
