The Royal Melbourne Horse Show is Australia’s largest horse breed show boasting more than 4,400 entries.
Held in January at Werribee Park Equestrian Centre, the Royal Melbourne Horse Show is a prestigious event to promote and benchmark breeds over four days of competition.

Whitmere Lollipop Awarded 2015 Royal Melbourne Horse Show Best Of Show Championship
The prestigious 2015 Royal Melbourne Horse Show Best of Show Champion has been awarded to Whitmere Lollipop exhibited by Michelle Labahn of Healesville, VIC.
RASV congratulates Michelle Labahn on winning the prestigious Best of Show Championship at the 2015 Royal Melbourne Horse Show with her mare Whitmere Lollipop, Mr O’Sullivan said “We received a large number of entries this year to the Royal Melbourne Horse Show and the caliber of competition has been outstanding,” Mr O’Sullivan said.
The chestnut mare riding pony become eligible to enter the Best of Show after being awarded Supreme Champion Led Open Breed, in her first time at the Royal Melbourne Horse Show since competing as a yearling.
“We are absolutely delighted to see such a small pony take out the award in such a quality field. It was just a complete thrill to be Best of Show,” said exhibitor Michelle Labahn, who has owned the riding pony from six months old.

Western Section Cancellation
The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) regrettably advises that the Western section of the 2015 Royal Melbourne Horse Show has been cancelled, as a result of an insufficient number of entries required to sustain the calibre of the competition.
Overall the Royal Melbourne Horse Show has been positively received with strong entry numbers. Western exhibitors have the choice to transfer to any other applicable section or to receive a full refund.
RASV will provide a full refund of class entry, stable, camping and RASV membership* fees paid by exhibitors. Payments will be refunded via the same method fees were paid.
Exhibitors are welcome to provide any feedback which will be considered in developing the 2016 Royal Melbourne Horse Show schedule.
