Program Update

The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) is pleased to advise that Equine event experts Definitive Events, through its equine subsidiary Equine Productions (EP) Pty Ltd, will conduct the Summer Horse Show (formerly the Royal Melbourne Horse Show).

Equine Productions boasts a long, proud and successful equine event portfolio with EQUITANA Australia and the Equine Lifestyle Festival. EP’s strength lies in established industry connected teams together with savvy operational expertise, allowing them to attractively expand on the current competition centric model of the SHS.

RASV will remain involved with the Summer Horse Show as an event partner and RASV members will continue to enjoy member benefits and privileges including significant savings on entry fees.

Equine Productions are committed to maximising the appeal and success of the Summer Horse Show for all involved and ensure that Australia’s largest horse breed show continues to grow and improve as a prestigious event promoting and benchmarking breeds.

The 2016 Summer Horse Show will be held over four days of competition across the Australia Day weekend from Friday 22- Monday 25 January, at Werribee Park Equestrian Centre.

Equine Productions will release details for the 2016 Summer Horse Show shortly, with the event to feature similar Sections and Classes to previous years along with some exciting new additions for 2016.

RASV will continue to conduct the Royal Melbourne Show - Horses in Action program held at Melbourne Showgrounds in September, during the Royal Melbourne Show.
