Royal Melbourne Alpaca Fleece Competition

The Royal Melbourne Show Alpaca Fleece competition showcases some of the best alpaca wool from around Australia and provides an opportunity for exhibitors to promote and benchmark their stud.

  • 2017 McLennan-McColl Flock of the Year heads to Western Victoria Tuesday, 29 Nov, 2016
    The 2017 McLennan-McColl Victoria Flock of the Year will head to Western Victoria in March. The on-farm competition is open to all commercial Merino producers in the area and celebrates and assists with improving the quality of Victoria’s merino ewe flocks, with a $1500 cash prize on offer.

    The RASV Beef Week Heifer Challenge will travel through Victoria and into NSW over 9 days beginning on Friday 27 January 2017, with the schedule of regions now available. The event recognises excellence in herd replacement females in seed stock operation and will culminate in the Beef Week Dinner on Tuesday 7 February.
