With more than 50 events and over $90,000 in prize money, the Royal Melbourne Show Woodchop Championships has been a feature at the Show for more than 100 years. The Woodchop Championships provide an opportunity to compete against the best woodchopping talent in Australia.
This year there’s great prize money for feature events such as Standing Block and Underhand Championships plus over $2,000 in prizes supplied by Allpower for the new Chainsawing Competition. The under 21 State of Origin returns in 2013 with TPA Shows Operations providing $5,000 in prize money.
Entries for the 2013 Woodchop Competition are now open. All exhibitors are encouraged to use the new online entry facility which provides a simple, flexible option for competitors.
The 2013 Royal Melbourne Show Woodchop Championships will be held from Saturday 21 September – Saturday 30 September 2013. Continue the family tradition, compete against like-minded people and be part of the prestige of Victoria’s pinnacle woodchop competition in 2013.
