Young Farmer Challenge

Think you have what it takes to represent Victoria in the Young Farmer Challenge? This unique and exciting event sees teams of four people race to complete a series of challenges that demonstrate the breadth of technical skills used by farmers in everyday field activities, such as stacking hay, leading an alpaca and erecting a portable electric fence.

Open to young people aged 16 - 30, the Victorian heats of the Young Farmer Challenge will take place in front of a captivated crowd at the Royal Melbourne Show, with the winning team selected to represent Victoria at the National Finals.
