RASV Membership

As a member-based organisation, RASV is committed to delivering great value to members and continuing to enhance member experiences. RASV members help to support excellence in Victorian agriculture while receiving a host of exclusive membership privileges.

RASV members can enjoy a huge range of member benefits and discounts offering extraordinary value, and allowing RASV members and their guests to experience Victoria’s largest and most iconic annual community event, the Royal Melbourne Show, as well as other unique events that connect industry to consumers. Membership Types

1. Full Members

A Full Member is entitled to a non-transferable card admitting them and their guest into the 2016 Royal Melbourne Show at all times. Full members and and their guests receive access into the Members Restaurant and Bar, as well as The Stockman’s Lounge.

Full Members have the right to purchase two additional Guest Card and have voting rights.


2. Restricted Members

A Restricted Member is entitled to a non-transferable card admitting them and their guest into the 2016 Royal Melbourne Show for any two days. Restricted members and their guests receive access to the Members Restaurant and Bar, as well as The Stockman’s Lounge.


3. Junior Members

A Junior Member is entitled to a non-transferable card admitting them into the 2016 Royal Melbourne Show at all times. Junior members gain access into the Members Restaurant and Bar, and The Stockman’s Lounge when accompanied by an adult.

    Brendan Varis, founder and head brewer of Feral Brewing Company, has been appointed Head Judge of the Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA), the world’s largest annual beer competition judging both packaged and draught beer.
  • 2017 McLennan-McColl Flock of the Year heads to Western Victoria Tuesday, 29 Nov, 2016
    The 2017 McLennan-McColl Victoria Flock of the Year will head to Western Victoria in March. The on-farm competition is open to all commercial Merino producers in the area and celebrates and assists with improving the quality of Victoria’s merino ewe flocks, with a $1500 cash prize on offer.
  • 2017 RASV Beef Week Heifer Challenge to travel Victoria in January Tuesday, 29 Nov, 2016

    The RASV Beef Week Heifer Challenge will travel through Victoria and into NSW over 9 days beginning on Friday 27 January 2017, with the schedule of regions now available. The event recognises excellence in herd replacement females in seed stock operation and will culminate in the Beef Week Dinner on Tuesday 7 February.

    As part of its ongoing commitment to nurturing young leaders, RASV sponsored two Next Generation (NG) delegates to attend the recent Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth’s 27th Commonwealth Agriculture Conference in Singapore, who have since returned with new knowledge and networks.
