Melbourne Royal shines at the 2023 Victorian MEA Awards

Melbourne Royal's commitment to cultivating and delivering outstanding events was acknowledged once again at the Victorian Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) Awards ceremony on Thursday night, 11th May, held at the iconic Melbourne Showgrounds’ showpiece, the Victoria Pavilion.
The 2022 Australian International Beer Awards, organised by Melbourne Royal, was awarded Corporate Event of the Year, while Melbourne Royal Senior Events Manager, Olivia Belvedere, was also recognised and received the prestigious In-House Event Manager of the Year award.
Melbourne Royal was honoured for its innovative and highly successful corporate event, the Australian International Beer Awards which showcases the best beers from around the world and brings together brewers, industry leaders, and beer enthusiasts from across the globe to celebrate the art and science of brewing. The Australian International Beer Awards are the largest draught and packaged beer awards program in the world, celebrating excellence in brewing in Australia and around the globe for 30 years.
In addition to the corporate event win, Melbourne Royal's Senior Event Manager, Olivia Belvedere, was honoured to win In-House Event Manager of the Year award. Olivia's passion for event management and her tireless efforts in ensuring the success of Melbourne Royal's events have been recognised by the industry, with her additional involvement and management of the 2022 Australian International Beer Awards, which also took home a win.
Olivia oversees the curation and delivery of Melbourne Royal’s full entertainment and activation program, with the flagship event being the much-loved Melbourne Royal Show, which saw over 500,000 in attendance in 2022. Overall, Olivia and her team manage over 20 events or high impact activations throughout the year, including the Australian International Beer Awards.
Olivia's win is a testament to Melbourne Royal's commitment to excellence in event management. The organisation has a proven track record of delivering exceptional experiences, with Olivia's win further solidifying Melbourne Royal's reputation as a leader in the event management industry.
