History

In 2016, RASV announced a new opportunity for Australian food producers with the launch of the Australian Food Awards (AFA).

Building on the success of RASV’s Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards, the Australian Food Awards offer broader opportunities for Australian producers to leverage their success locally and internationally with the AFA seal of excellence. 

The AFA offers eight overarching categories which incorporate the RMFFA’s former 16 categories, with new categories that reflect consumer food trends.

The AFA continues to grow and develop year on year.
