The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria is delighted to welcome a number of industry leaders to this year’s judging panel.


Mr Andrew Whetton – (Scotland UK) Led and Harness Clydesdales
Andrew has been involved in showing Heavy Horses since the early age of 10.  After leaving school obtained a position at Thwaites Brewery in Lancashire for 16 years driving, preparing horses and harness for both work delivering beer daily and for the show ring.  Mr Whetton and his wife Lisa are owner operators of Doveleys Clydesdale and Shire Stud.  A member of both the Clydesdale and shire judging panels and have judged at many Suffolk County shows, The Royal Norfolk and the National Shire Horse Show to name a few.

Mr Gregory Goss (South Africa) - Open Hacks
Gregory has judged most of the Championship events throughout South Africa including all sections from Open Horses and Ponies to Hunters. He has also judged at Royal Auckland, Ekka Brisbane Royal and a number of shows in the United Kingdom including Royal Lancashire, Royal International (Hickstead) and Royal Windsor Hacks and Ponies in 2017.  Gregory is an accredited Dressage Judge.

Ms Eva Best (New Zealand) - Open Ponies
Eva has judged at the highest level within New Zealand, with appointments at the Horse of the Year Show in 2015 and 2017, the New Zealand National Horse and Pony Show (2014), and Royal Shows in both the North and South Islands.
