The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) is excited to announce plans to form a Youth Advisory Group to support and nurture the next generation of agricultural leaders.

The purpose of the Advisory Group is to promote and celebrate Victorian agriculture, including but not limited to agricultural shows, agribusiness and agri-tech to ensure its sustainability and progression well into the future. 

The opportunity to join the new Youth Advisory Group is available for up to 10 people aged between 18 and 35 and expressions of interest are now open. Applications are being sought from a diverse range of agricultural sectors and applicants will be contacted in mid-March 2021.

How often will the Youth Advisory Group meet?

The Youth Advisory Group will meet up to six times per year, either face to face, or virtually.

When will I find out if I am selected?

Applications will be reviewed in early March 2021. Potential Youth Advisory Group members will be contacted in mid-March and advised of the next stage of the application process.

What kind of experience do I need?

The RASV is seeking youth who are passionate about agriculture and agricultural shows. We are seeking up to 10 Youth Advisory Group members across varied sectors of the agricultural community from agri-business to agri-tech through to show competitions.
