The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) is a member based organisation that promotes and celebrates agriculture through events that link industry with consumers.
The RASV ultimately aims to improve the quality and increase demand for Victorian agriculture produce.
Our focus is on delivering value to industry, those with a direct involvement in primary and secondary production, particularly in Victoria and our role is to connect consumers to industry product and produce.
Events conducted by the RASV such as the Royal Melbourne Show, the Australian International Beer Awards, the Royal Melbourne Wine Show and the Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards are a key platform to connect industry to consumers.
In addition the RASV manages Melbourne Showgrounds, Melbourne’s largest and most versatile indoor/outdoor exhibition, trade show and event venue.
Agriculture – The Heart of Victoria
The Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) and the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) is proud to present ‘Agriculture: The Heart of Victoria’.
A celebration of Victoria’s agriculture industry, this not to be missed evening features a sumptuous dinner showcasing Victoria’s finest seasonal produce, Victorian wine and a live performance by the Mornington Peninsula’s ‘Quarry Mountain Dead Rats’.
Taking place at Melbourne Showgrounds on Thursday 27 June this event is a must for anyone working, studying or connected with Victoria’s agricultural industry. More information and ticket purchases can be made at the Heart of Victoria.
