What are the entry prerequisites?

All dogs entered must be registered with the relevant State Controlling Body, only breeds recognised for conformation showing by the ANKC can enter and age criteria needs to be observed when entering a dog into a particular class.

Is the competition live streamed?

Best in Show day will be live streamed nationally and internationally, with the footage available to be viewed from the Royal Melbourne Show website. 

When do entries open and close?

Entries open on Wednesday 1 May 2019 and close for all classes excluding Baby Puppies on Friday 2 August 2019 at 5.00pm AEST. Entries for Baby Puppies close on Tuesday 20 August at 5:00pm AEST.

When is judging?

Judging will take place on the following days during the 2019 Royal Melbourne Show:
